40th Legislative District Democrats Chili Feed Contest, Noon to 3:00pm, Sunday, Aug 13, Double S Quarter Horses, 15216 Colony Rd, Bow

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!  AND ITS A FUND RAISER!

Join the 40th LD Democrats Sunday, August 13, Noon to 3 pm, at Tom Pasma and Sue Sultze’s Double S Quarter Ranch along with competing political organizations and individuals and sample some of the tastiest chili recipes in the 40th District.

Speakers will be Hillary Franz, Washington State’s Commissioner of Public Lands, Kris Lytton, 40th LD Representative, Roxanne Murphy, Bellingham City Council, Germaine Kornegay, Sedro-Woolley City Council, Iris Carias, candidate for Mount Vernon City Council, and the Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy.

There will be Horse & Hydrabull Demonstrations and more by World Renown Trainer Sue Sultze with help from Tom.

Chili contestants:
10th LD, 39th LD, & 40th LD Democrats, Fidalgo Democrats, Burlington Democrats, Young Democrats of Skagit, Whatcom County Young Democrats, Skagit County Democrats,  Whatcom Democrats, ACLU, People Power Committee from Indivisible Skagit, Sister Districts Project CD1 & CD2, and Alliance for Jobs and Clean Energy

$10 donation at door.

The 40th LD provides the cornbread, chips, dips, dessert, and water/soda.

Tom provides straw bales for seating so bring your favorite chair, if you prefer something else.

The 40th LD provides water/soda so if you prefer other beverages, please bring.

Also, we welcome anyone who wants to bring a potluck dish.

Come Rain or Shine—Tom and Sue have a huge Indoor Arena for bad weather.

It’s about being outdoors in the country, sampling all the chilies, and enjoying each other’s company.
