2020 Skagit County Democrats County Convention–Need Volunteers for a Committee

2020 Skagit County Democrats County Convention--Needs a Committee! Please Volunteer! The Skagit County Democrats are assembling a team to plan the 2020 County Convention, to be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020. This committee will be responsible for securing a site, ordering supplies, scheduling speakers and other events, and making sure that the event complies with rules set by the state and national parties. Regarding the Global Climate Strike, the Green Club students at Anacortes High have decided not to strike, rather for an “action” in the cafeteria. They have asked for support with a rally outside the high school, 19th and K, Anacortes, 11:30-1 pm on September 27th Extinction Rebellion (XR) Anacortes is organizing a rally. You may have read about XR shutting down all 5 bridges crossing the Thames in London, but there will be no civil disobedience at this event.
